Cider doughnut recipe

When I was 12, we lived in New Jersey. One of my fondest memories of living in the Garden State was that we lived close to an orchard called Scrumpy’s and they made the best cider, and by extension, cider doughnuts.  I’ve sampled many since that never really lived up.  I think I finally managed to replicate what I remember.
